Hello Campers:                                                               9th November 2009

Newcomers are welcome to participate and/or co-ordinate a campout.

It seems a little early to start thinking about next summer's camping plans, but in order to make it work we have to start organizing now.

Our camping season starts with the first campout in April with the last campout for the year in September.

Each Co-ordinator (Host / Wagonmaster) will have to make tentative bookings at the campground that they have decided to host for the group and will answer any questions you may have regarding their designated month and dates. Please make sure that when you decide on the campout date that it does not interfere with our Newcomer or Alumni meeting nights.

It is up to the individual camper to make their own reservations at each campground; the co-ordinators will not make deposits on sites. Some campgrounds require an early deposit with a 30 day cancellation clause, to secure a site for next summer. If you wish to attend, please make the necessary reservations along with a deposit.  Please note that most of the campgrounds have a website where you can look and choose a site.

Every campout will be 4 nights, usually starting on a  Monday, through  Thursday, but that depends on the situation.

At each campout Happy Hour will be at 4:00 p.m.----?? until dinner.

Potluck Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. the 2nd night. Please, no appies at Happy Hour that day as dinner is usually enough.
